A geodesic school greenhouse in Boston

One of the South End School teachers is currently attending Montessori teacher training in Boston, USA. She promised to send the earth school students images of the school garden and greenhouse where the training takes place in Boston, Massachusetts.

The school has a part time gardening teacher and a cool little geodesic greenhouse, with aquaponics. The greenhouse houses a fishpond utilising aquaponics. Aquaponics  is a system of aquaculture in which the waste produced by farmed fish or other aquatic creatures supplies the nutrients for plants grown hydroponically, which in turn purify the water.
