Shipping container science lab

We are so happy to announce that the Carterton Lions Foundation are going to convert our rusty shipping container into a beautiful science lab classroom for us to study plant biology in.

McAuleys did an incredibly expert job of lifting the container out over the willow classroom and the hall and taking it off to a Lions members workshop to be cut and transformed into a shiny new classroom.

In 2019 Kuranui year 9 and 10 students worked with the building inspector from Carterton District Council

in 2019 we are challenging students from kuranui college to plan and design an eco-classroom from a used shipping container that is ecologically sound and will function as a working science laboratory for students an.jpg
