In 2019 we are challenging students from Kuranui College to plan and design an eco-classroom from a used shipping container that is ecologically sound and will function as a working science laboratory for students and the wider community.
sustainable design and the repurposing of shipping containers are both becoming important ideas in our quest to find affordable and sustainable solutions
Te Kura o Papatuanuku has been donated a used shipping container to turn into a science lab at our outdoor classroom site at South End School in Carterton
We are excited to have the opportunity for it to be a showcase of sustainable design, a building that inspires and teaches.
