Fruit trees in schools Wairarapa

This project was started by one of our Earth School trustees Hayden Myschiefski - Hayden is passionate about food security and access to local organic fresh produce to keep our young people and communities healthy. He saw an opportunity to fundraise and make a simple contribution of a few fruit trees to each school in our region so far the project has provided trees to six Wairarapa schools and now we would like to expand this initiative to more schools and to begin propagating trees and vines at our garden classroom in Carterton.

Te Kura o Papatuanuku aims to provide fruit trees to all Wairarapa schools. Help us teach kids about healthy eating and growing and preserving their own kai
