In 2017 we celebrated our curious minds funded project by hosting a weeklong celebration called Wairarapa Sustainability Week. The week comprised of a number of hands on workshops, expert talks, movie screenings and a project finale where students presented their work.
Workshops included 3d printing wind turbines and turning old toothbrushes into robots
Wairarapa Sustainability Week was a great success and from this we have developed our Community and school holiday workshops working with our partners, Thunderpants, Boomerang bags Carterton and FabLab in Masterton we are developing some more workshop ideas and hope to make these available in 2020 - watch this space …
